RMRC has received a "first –class recognition" from Iran Organization for Promotion of Nano Technology for the first 6 months of 2007-2008 among all 39 laboratories in Iran which are active in the field of Nano – Technology and Nano-Structure Materials.

Assessment of RMRC laboratories was done by DAP on 11-14 Dec.2007 and RMRC will receive ISO/IEC 17025-2005 certificate for chemical, polymer, metallographic and mechanical lab on 29/02/2008.

RMRC has recieved a 150/000 US $ award from Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in 2007 for its outstanding efforts on computer simulation of metals casting processes and development of SUTCAST software.
