



The Corrosion and Coating Laboratory is one of the specialized units of this research center, operating with the aim of evaluating, analyzing, and controlling corrosion phenomena in metallic materials and protective coatings. This laboratory utilizes advanced equipment, international standard methods, and specialized personnel to provide testing and analysis services in various industrial fields.
The scope of the laboratory's activities includes performing electrochemical tests, evaluating material corrosion behavior in different environments, examining the performance of organic and inorganic coatings, accelerated corrosion tests, and analyzing the causes of corrosion in industrial components. All tests are conducted according to internationally recognized standards such as ASTM, ISO, and NACE.
With a focus on the needs of the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, steel, marine, and construction industries, the Corrosion Laboratory plays an effective role in increasing equipment lifespan, reducing maintenance costs, and improving system safety.
