Portable research tests are mainly used when there is a need to perform research testing on assembled structures such as refinery equipment, power plants, tanks, welded frameworks, and similar installations. Additionally, for the examination of heavy and bulky components where sampling is not feasible, on-site portable research testing is the only way to access metallurgical properties.
